T​he Red Sea has a unique structure of being narrow and longed, boarded by high mountains, the average mountains height is 1000 to 1500 meters, some peaks reach 2,400 and 2,600 meters, Because of the dry air and aridity around the region, the evaporation ration is very high, the Red Sea loses every year 900 billion cubic meter of its waters, crucial natural factor, meantime there is no rains or other source to compensate this vapor water. But luckily, the Red Sea connects to the indo-pacific ocean through a narrow passage of 29 KM width and maximum depth of 134 Meters which is constantly not only replenishing the Red Sea water level but simultaneously renewing its nutrients and dissolved oxygen, a fact along with many other reasons contributed to the captivating diversity of the Red Sea aquatic life ...
